Ease your mind, and let us check your heart palpitations in real-time

Palpitations : benign or serious?

What are palpitations exactly?

‘Palpitation’ is a medical term for the feeling that your heart beats are skipping, fluttering, racing or pounding.

There are many causes of palpitations ranging from benign conditions such as anxiety to potentially life-threatening abnormal rhythm of your heart (arrhythmia).

The only certain way to tell is to detect them with a monitor when you are experiencing these symptoms.

How does our service work?

1.

Healthbeat will send you a heart monitor kit wherever you are.

You will receive your heart monitor at your doorstep either by mail or in-person (if you live in the New York City area).

2.

You can put on the monitor yourself and be monitored in real-time continuously.

Watch our simple step-by-step video as to how to apply the heart monitor to your chest area.

If any symptoms occur, you can make a note on the cellular phone provided so we can find out what your heart rhythm is when you are feeling palpitations.

3.

Once the heart monitor is active, your heart rhythm will be observed by our trained personnel for 5 days

You will be informed immediately if we find something serious and be connected directly to a cardiologist.

Note that you can exercise and shower as you normally do while wearing the monitor.

4.

After completing your monitoring, you have the option to review the results with our cardiologist or bring the report to your own doctor.

After reviewing your results, our cardiologist will formulate a care plan based on your diagnosis.
